BRASKEM REMOVES "CO2" FROM THE FIRST PAGE OF FOLHA DE S. PAULO

Today, June 5, is World Environment Day, and to publicize the actions of environmental sustainability, Braskem, the largest producer of thermoplastic resins in the Americas, publishes a different ad in the cover of the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo.

In the action, created by Africa Zero, the petrochemical company took the letters C and O and the number 2 off the text of the newspaper’s front page, drawing attention to initiatives that, during the year, contributed to reducing to CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. Braskem, one of the world’s most innovative companies according to American magazine Fast Company, also ran another piece yesterday in several newspapers in Brazil, drawing attention to the date and highlighting the importance of not waiting until the next day to be concerned with the subject.
