Braskem's Triunfo Technology & Innovation Center (CTI), one of the most modern polymers research centers in Latin America, invested R$1.7 million in equipment for a complete rotomolding laboratory, which will be opened in March this year in the presence of the customers. The laboratory will be used in the development of new solutions for the rotomolding market - the segment responsible for the production of large parts, such as water tanks, toys and parts for the agricultural sector.
 
The tests that can be performed in the new space include productivity analysis, technical comparison between materials and grades of the portfolio, resistance evaluation to comply with the current standards, and technical assistance to meet customer demands. "The laboratory will highlight the rotomolding segment, allowing Braskem to position itself as a supplier of technical solutions for the market. In addition, we will be training the teams in a new production process," said Eliomar Pimenta, application engineer at Braskem.
