Undergraduate students interested in the positions can apply until June 7

Braskem is now accepting applications for its 2012 Internship Program. The company is offering 53 openings to students from various cities who are currently enrolled in a wide range of undergraduate programs. Applications must be made by June 7 through the website www.jovensbraskem.com.br. The Internship Program represents the main point of entry for aspiring youth seeking to join Braskem, which is the largest petrochemical company in the Americas and the world leader in biopolymer production.

Braskem aims to attract and develop young talent who identify with its values and can contribute to the company's strong growth planned for the coming years. The program includes specific development modules and special training tailored to the interns, offering them a complementary development that combines the theoretical knowledge they learned at university with practical experience at a major corporation. The specific modules include the development of technical knowledge in the petrochemical industry as well as the skills and attitudes required to perform at high levels and understand the corporate culture.

"Our internship program focuses on supporting the development of these young partners. Our goal is for them to learn at Braskem the technical knowledge they need to effectively complement their education. We also work to introduce them to a culture based on values, to a relationship of trust with their direct leader and to special modules focused on their professional development. The program is definitely a very valuable experience for these young professionals and prepares them for the challenges they will face in their careers," said Marcelo Arantes, Braskem's People and Organization Vice-President.

To participate, applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and be on track to graduating between June 2013 and June 2014. The program lasts up to two years, after which they can participate in a recruiting process for permanent positions in various areas of the company.

On the website www.jovensbraskem.com.br, applicants can find more information on the program and the company. They can also watch testimonials from other interns and trainees, participate in chats with leaders at the company and access content on careers.
