} What is it?The Ethics Line is the communications channel made available by Braskem so Associates, Partners, Suppliers, Clients and other Collaborators can safely and responsibly contribute with information for maintaining safe, ethical, transparent and productive business environments. Secrecy is absolute. In compliance with the Public Commitment signed August 16, 2002, and satisfying the clauses in the Sarbanes-Oxley Law (section 302).
} When to use it?It should be used whenever possible deviations in conduct have been identified on the part of Associates, Partners, Suppliers and Clients, representing breaches of the Code of Conduct, norms and internal procedures, ethical principles and good corporate governance practices as well any violations of current legislation. All of the reports are analyzed, governed by confidentiality, independence, guaranteeing anonymity of the reporters and security in verification. The results of this verification are forwarded to the Ethics Committee so the Company can evaluate and prioritize measures to control detected risks and concerns.
} How to use it?The Ethics Line can be accessed three different ways: phone, e-mail or mail. The channels made available are:
Telephone: Call toll free dialing 0800 284 5855 and record the report. The phone line is available 24 hour a day, 7 days a week. The service provides information through the answering system on how the Associate should report the deviation in conduct.
Internet: Access Braskem’s home page on the Internet (
www.braskem.com.br), click on "contacts", which is in the Braskem menu with a single click, choose the "Ethics Line" option and fill out the form. (Click here).
