This practice could be no different when the company hires recently graduated youths and involves them in trainee programs to develop fundamental technical and behavioral skills and start them out in a successful career. The trainee program prepares potential talents who will accompany and contribute towards the organization's growth as a generation that is already part of the Organization's culture and environment.

With a vision of the future, Braskem bets on a trainee program capable of preparing a generation of entrepreneurs based on Odebrecht Business Technology (TEO), a series of principles and values that guide an organization's performance. According to this philosophy, people are at the center of the strategy and the organization's survival, growth and perpetuity depend on them.

In order to insert these young professionals in company strategy, Braskem bets on the differentiation of its trainee program and offers personalized training. When they become part of the company, they begin to receive supervision from a leader who is responsible for their training. The leader's role is of utmost importance in developing the young talent and he/she reinforces the principle of education through work and for the work described in the TEO.

With the objective of supporting the trainee during the program, which lasts 12 months, the leaders and the People and Organization team developed a personalized itinerary for development. It details the trajectory the trainee must cover to mature professionally and obtain a broad vision of the company, its business and its strategies. In the end, the trainee is prepared to tackle the challenges and outline his/her career path.
