Braskem Award of Culture and Art This is an incentive for culture through the awarding and sponsorship of unprecedented artistic productions produced by Bahian plastic artists, writers, musicians and movie directors or by authors from other states but who live in Bahia.  The program also stands out for its capacity to reveal artistic talents, the most recent being singer Mariene de Castro. Every year, specialized judging commissions select unprecedented productions that receive sponsorship from Braskem to help launch their works.
