Braskem Theater Award The Braskem Theater Award is a cultural project sponsored by Braskem S.A. It consists of the annual awarding of the best Bahian theater productions. It was created with the objective of valorizing, recognizing and awarding Bahian theater production, making room for the emergence of new talents.   The indications are made by judging commissions specialized in the cultural area - comprised of new members every year-who watch all the plays put on in Salvador. Besides valorizing Bahian theater through public recognition, the Award also provides financial incentive to the winners.
