Braskem is once again part of Corporate Sustainability Index stock portfolio São Paulo Stock Exchange's (ISE). The index includes stock from companies that, according to Stock Exchange assessment criteria, ally social-environmental and corporate governance concerns with good economic performance.

The ISE was created by Bovespa in December 2005 and this year it is comprised of stock from 32 companies from diverse segments with renowned commitment to corporate sustainability. Renewal is annual and Braskem has been part of the index since its creation. Company selection obeys a sustainability analysis made from a questionnaire of 150 questions that is sent to the companies.

Those companies that achieve a good score in all assessed aspects and that prove, through documentation, the veracity of the information, are included in the index.
