Braskem Intern Program opens registrations

Registrations must be made by September 28. There are 100 openings in São Paulo, Bahia, Alagoas and Rio Grande do Sul
Braskem begins the registration period for its Intern Program selection process. Registrations can be made until September 28 on the company’s site. There are 100 openings that may be disputed by students in Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Economics, Social Communication, Accounting Sciences, Computer Science and Computer Engineering.

Braskem seeks young professionals with determination and initiative, communication skills, who work easily in teams, have good interpersonal relations, a desire to learn, ambitious proposals, objectivity and a positive and constructive spirit. The following requirements are also requested of the candidates: graduation projected for December 2010 to December 2011, and English.

The selection process includes tests in English and logical thinking, group dynamics and individual interviews. The company offers the intern a health plan, meal vouchers - or meals at company cafeterias for professionals who work at the industrial units - and transportation.

Braskem’s Intern Program was structured to attract and develop youths with great potential and in search of constant learning. The program lasts from 1 to 2 years and it offers the intern the opportunity to complement his education and join the practical with theoretical knowledge he is acquiring in college.

At Braskem, the internship offers a structured development plan that involves: the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge acquired in the academic environment to practical activities at a company that values learning through work; development of technical and behavioral skills, interaction with work teams and constant orientation from the internship Leader; development of projects in the student’s area and elaboration of a presentation at conclusion of the internship; structured follow-up by the internship Leader as well as the Human Resources team through periodic assessments and meetings.
