Braskem Rigeo: new brand for the segment of rigid polyethylene

The innovation strengthens the Company's presence in the market, focusing on innovation and diversity of applications

Braskem, the largest producer of thermoplastic resins in the Americas, is expanding its portfolio with one more option for the market under the new Braskem Rigeo brand. With its launch at Feiplastic, the largest trade show of the plastics sector in Latin America, the brand seeks to unify the robust portfolio for the segment of rigid polyethylene of the Company and reinforce its strategic presence in this market, with an emphasis on innovation and diversity of applications.

The highlight of the line is Braskem Rigeo Lumios, a resin that provides increased surface gloss and better finish to rigid blow-molded packages. The priority markets are cosmetics, hygiene & cleaning, and food. The innovations provides the packaging with a glossy film, with intense and vibrant colors, giving more visibility to the product on the shelves. With this launch, Braskem expands its product offering, offering an even more complete portfolio to the market, identifying the needs of the local and global plastic chain.
