In the Solvent product line, there are options for optimizing drying time, increasing yield and granting adhesion properties on low affinity surfaces. Solvents also play a part in the formulation of adhesives, improving application characteristics by way of the adjustment of viscosity and optimizing drying time according to the characteristics of each production process. These are applied primarily in adhesives for footwear.

In addition to this, Braskem is the producer of the hydrocarbon resin Unilene®, ideal for hotmelt adhesives that comprise chemical bases such as EVA, rubber and polyurethanes.
