1. Who can participate in Braskem Labs Scale?

   We seek innovative solutions that make people's lives better and that:

   1. Use or are geared towards the chemical and/or plastic chain.
   2. Cause positive social and environmental impact.
   3. Have innovation as a principle.

    

2. Are only projects whose solution is physical eligible to register?

   No. Projects may be digital, physical, products or services.

3. Can I register more than one project?

   Yes, registrations should be made per project, not per entrepreneur/company. Therefore, complete one registration form for each project.

4. How many projects will be selected?

   Up to 10 projects of social impact through chemistry and/or plastic will be chosen.

5. What must my project necessarily have?

   To participate in Scale, businesses must have validated their product/service in the market and be either in the process of structuring management to leverage their growth or ready to expand/scale.

6. Will Braskem Labs Scale have ownership of my company or intellectual property?

   No, Braskem Labs Scale will not receive an interest in your company or in the intellectual property of your solution. What you and your team develop during your training will keep remain yours.

7. Will Braskem Labs Scale inject capital into my company?

   Braskem Labs Scale does not inject capital into participating companies.

8. Do I need a Tax ID (CNPJ) to register?

   We do not ask for your company's CNPJ upon registration.

9. Do all projects participate in Demo Day?

   Demo Day is the moment to showcase your company to a specific audience to attract investments or clients. But not all entrepreneurs will necessarily be at the right moment for this. So, we will evaluate the entrepreneur's maturity and performance during the program, the development of the product/service, the company's moment, among other factors, to understand who will be part of Demo Day. The decision is made with the utmost care to safeguard the interests of both entrepreneurs and investors as well as the potential clients and partners at the event.

10. Are the mentoring and training sessions on-site or virtual?

    Braskem Labs Scale will have 8 group meetings that must be attended by at least 1 entrepreneur per company:

    1. Diagnosis: we diagnose your company to design the training program based on your main needs.
    2. Training and Speed Dating: inspiring and intense training meetings, with immersions in specific topics, to foster exchange and leverage connections.
    3. Boot Camp: meetings focused on pitch preparation.
    4. Demo Day

     

    The one-on-one mentoring sessions will at first be virtual.

11. How much time will I need to dedicate to the program if I'm selected?

    The expected dedication for mentoring sessions and content paths averages 5.5h/week, besides the mandatory face-to-face events.
