Adriana Morasco

Career in commercial, marketing and business leadership areas in the textile, plastics and specialty chemicals sectors. Renowned for building high-performance global commercial teams, she joined Braskem in 2014 in the Specialty Chemicals commercial area, with previous experience at Rhodia and two international experiences in France and the United States. She actively participates in discussion groups on negotiations in different cultures at Princeton University.

He joined Braskem in 2005 in the sales and market development area for UTEC UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weigh Polyethylene). He was responsible for this business in Brazil, Europe and Asia, which gave him experience in international negotiations and business development in multicultural environments. Returning to Brazil, he was global leader of Polypropylene, where he sought synergies across the various regions where Braskem manufactures the resin as well as the multinational clients in the three regions. He also led the Planning and Raw Materials area, where he became familiar with production processes and the supply and negotiation chain for feedstock and production inputs, as well as knowledge of the sales and industrial planning area. More recently, he became Commercial Director of the Polypropylene performance segments, where he works with teams to strengthen partnerships with clients in an increasingly globalized business environment (Braskem and Clients).

Marcio Sanitá de Azevedo

B.A. and graduate degree in Business Administration from FGV in São Paulo and MBA in Corporate Management from BSP - Business School São Paulo, as well as an international module at the University of Toronto. Long career in the sales area of service and B2B companies, having worked at Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo (financial services), BHP Billiton (global player in aluminum) and Rexam Beverage Cans (global beverage can manufacturer). Joined Braskem 14 years ago, initially in market development, responsible for structuring and managing projects with Braskem's multi-disciplinary teams and along the value chain to prospect and create new markets for plastics.
Later he was Account Manager, responsible for managing key clients in select segments of the polypropylene market. In 2011, he became Braskem's commercial manager in Chile, based in Santiago and, in 2013, assumed responsibility for the operation in Argentina, based in Buenos Aires. In these opportunities, he developed his team management, negotiation and business management skills in a cultural, business and economic setting different from that of Brazil. He returned in 2017, when he became manager of the regional account manager team of the PP business.

Jorge Soto

Started his career as an industrial engineer. Subsequently, he served in various leadership positions in quality, health and safety and environmental management. B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (1985) from the Federal University of Bahia, in Brazil. Master's in Chemical Engineering (1994) from COPPE - Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Ph. D. in Environmental Planning also from COPPE/UFRJ.

Alexandre de Castro
PVC Commercial Director
B.A. in Business Administration from Getúlio Vargas Foundation and graduate degree from UFRJ. Has been part of Braskem since 2004, when he joined Politeno, a company acquired in 2006. During this period, he worked in the commercial department, primarily focusing on Polyethylene and more recently on the Vinyls Business. Over his career, he has forged long-term partnerships with clients and provided support for various market development projects. Previously, he was president of the Brazilian Chlor-Alkali Industry Association (ABICLOR) and member of the World Chlorine Council (WCC).
