Braskem received this honor at a ceremony on April 9, 2025, at UMass Boston.

Braskem, alongside 13 other esteemed companies, has been acknowledged for its significant contributions to the Massachusetts economy, including job creation, facility expansion, community engagement, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives since January 1, 2024.

In 2024, Braskem proudly inaugurated the Renewable Innovation Center in Lexington, Mass. The center is dedicated to fostering a world-class innovation team in the Boston metro area. This expansion project was strategically situated within Boston's renowned biotechnology and innovation ecosystem, benefiting from its proximity to over 60 universities and colleges within a one-hour drive.
