Braskem at the Popload Festival
After promoting the recycling of plastic at Lollapalooza Brasil and Rock in Rio, it was time to stage the theme at the Popload Festival, a music event attended by around 15,000 people in São Paulo in October.
The large audiences at music festivals present opportunities to call people's attention to the importance of making sure that waste is properly disposed of.
"Braskem believes that the circular economy can create a better future and, in order to get there, the engagement of people is needed. The implementation of the circular economy is a collective task," points out Ana Laura Sivieri, Marketing and Communications Director at Braskem.
Pop Recycle Braskem: music providing a stage for recycling
In addition to Braskem's stand serving as a support point for disposal, carts circulated around the event. The initiative was based on an incentive system, in which the disposal of plastic waste generated points that could be exchanged for gifts.
Heineken® partnered with Braskem at another music festival with the aim of bringing the concept of circularity to the surface in people's daily lives.
