Braskem's portfolio of solvents has been bolstered with the recently launched Braskem Spiria, a turpentine solution to meet the stringent quality standards of the Brazilian paint segment. The new product is colorless, with a mild odor, which makes it one of the best solutions on the market.

To ensure its colorless and mild odor features, Braskem sought options inside and outside the company that would be most suitable for each client. The product meets the requirements for applications where odor and color are crucial. Braskem Spiria turpentine can be used in the paints, thinners, adhesives, varnishes and cleaning product segments.

This novelty is part of Braskem's strategy to stay at the forefront of the Brazilian hydrocarbon solvent market, which today represents approximately 500 thousand tons a year, always seeking alternatives so that its clients can innovate and stand out in the sector where they operate.
