Can plastic derived from sugarcane really reduce carbon emissions? Yes! Definitely! 

While fossil plastics use carbon which has long been stored underground, our I'm greenT bio-based captures CO2 from the atmosphere. This difference results in a ~5kg net reduction of CO2 emissions for every kilogram of bio-based plastic that replaces fossil plastic.
