Does Brazilian sugarcane production have a negative impact on the Amazon rainforest? No, it does not!
The majority of sugarcane is grown in the center-south region of Brazil, thousands of kilometers away from the Amazon rainforest - that distance is approximately the same as the distance between Lisbon and Helsinki. Being far from the Amazon, and close to our production, made sourcing from the center-south the natural and ethical choice for us.
