In face of the news concerning the decision of the 4th Federal Court of Justice, determining the adoption of measures to deactivate the wells of rock salt exploration in Maceió, Braskem explains that, as of the end of May, it has been presenting plans to close the mines in which sonar operation was concluded and that are apt to be closed. The closing plans presented follow all the recommended rules and safety standards and are being executed in three steps. The last step depends on the approval of the National Mining Agency (ANM).
