Braskem concludes delivery of Monitoring Central equipment this Friday (5)

Maceió, July 5, 2019 - The Civil Defense Monitoring Center of Maceió, in the district of Pinheiro, will count on a complete infrastructure as of this Friday (5) to meet the demands of the region, especially in the rainy period. By the morning end, Braskem finishes the installation of the donated equipment for the monitoring center, that will have 40 radios, all the basis and network server, devices for videoconference, 12 tablets, VoIP telephones, a big Videowall screen with four 55-inch monitors, nobreaks, computers and complete furniture as well as further electronic items. 

With the concluded delivery of the high-technology equipment installed by the company, it will be possible to monitor data from the DGPS and the meteorological station of Pinheiro, as well as the information from other systems used by the Civil Defense. 

Technical cooperation
The initiative is part of the Technical Cooperation Agreement signed by Braskem, the Public, Federal, State and Labor Prosecutor's Offices, the Municipality of Maceió and the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy (Crea-AL).

Braskem has suggested and is performing several actions in the district of Pinheiro since April. The petrochemical company has already concluded the inspection services of the drainage system of Pinheiro with semi-robotic cameras;  initiated the high-precision GPS monitoring to measure possible ground movements;  installed a meteorological station; performed engineering inspections in residential complexes and schools; and  continues to execute works for pavement recovery in streets damaged by cracks.
