Maceió, April 5, 2019 - Braskem informs that the judgement of the 2nd Civil District Court of Maceió/AL partially granted the preliminary order requested in the action proposed by the Public Prosecutor's Office and Public Defender's Office, both in the State of Alagoas, having determined the provisional blocking of up to R$ 100 million in financial assets of the company. 

Braskem reiterates that it will continue to collaborate with the authorities to identify the causes of the events occurred in the district of Pinheiro, in Alagoas, and that the technical analyses by the competent bodies are still under progress, and that up to this moment, there is no base to affirm that our activities are the cause of the problems in the district.

Braskem reaffirms its commitment to a responsible corporate operation, and continues to contribute to the identification and implementation of solutions.
