Maceió, April 10, 2019 - Braskem became aware of the interlocutory appeal filed by the State Public Prosecutor's Office and the Public Defender's Office only through a note posted on the website of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the State of Alagoas, not yet having had access to the contents of the appeal. In relation to the event that took place in May, 2011, referred to by the State Public Prosecutor's Office, it is important to clarify that Braskem provided continuous support and was close to the community. The suits filed against the company at the time were dismissed by the Courts of the State of Alagoas.
