Braskem achieved ISO 37001 certification, issued by an independent body. This standard specifies requirements and provides guidance for the setting up, implementation, maintenance, critical analysis and improvement of an anti-bribery management system. The certificate for Operation and Management of the Anti-bribery Compliance and Management System - SGAS was achieved by Braskem in Brazil for the production and marketing of chemicals and petrochemicals and their corresponding supporting administrative services. Certification is valid for three years and it is Braskem's strategic goal, as well as a requirement in the leniency agreement in effect between the company and the Federal Office of the General Comptroller (Controladoria Geral da União, CGU).

 
Achieving ISO 37001 certification strengthens the effective measures for prevention and mitigation of potential risks adopted by Braskem, protecting and preserving its value.
