At the booth, visitors will have the opportunity to see packaging samples made from the new Medcol VV7040 grade, the low-density polyethylene, that is specifically designed for blow-fill seal process and complies with pharmaceutical regulations for the healthcare market. I'm green^TM bio-based offers a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) grade focused on the requirements of the healthcare and hygiene sector .  It supplies necessary characteristics such as flowability, high stiffness, and temperature resistance through a material made from scalable and recyclable renewable feedstock, which is a drop-in solution with a negative carbon footprint (cradle-to-gate). The carbon footprint of the grade amounts to -2,27 kgCO₂e/kg.

On January 21^st, Camila Pilatti, Technical Service & Development for Europe and Asia, and Tim Wagler, I'm green^TM bio-based commercial leader for Europe, will talk about the advantages I'm greenT bio-based solutions and its contribution to the reduction of brands' environmental impact. They will talk at the Sustainability Theater from 2:40 p.m. and will answer questions from the audience.

For more than 15 years, Braskem has been developing and expanding I'm green^TM bio-based polymer solutions made from plants. Currently, the production capacity is 275,000 tons/year - a 37% increase since inauguration, this expansion enables the capture of approximately 159,000 tons of CO² per year. The I'm green^TM bio-based portfolio includes multiple grades used for packaging, toys, and footwear. Up-to-date Life Cycle Assessments belay their negative carbon footprints.
