Janistry And Property Surveillance

The program aids in ensuring safety, cleanliness, and pest control in neighborhoods affected by subsidence. Over 300 professionals are employed in these areas.

The cleaning work includes removing debris from evicted properties, sweeping streets, and sidewalks, weeding, clearing manholes and culverts, pruning trees, and painting curbs.

The pest monitoring and control efforts help maintain sanitary conditions in unoccupied neighborhoods and contribute to the fight against diseases like dengue, zika, and chikungunya through thermal fogging (fumigation). A drone is used to apply insecticides in hard-to-reach areas.

Besides properties, streets, squares, and land are also fumigated and sprayed to control scorpions, cockroaches, ants, rats, and other insects. Combating pests is a permanent initiative.

In the future, evicted properties will be demolished. The land will be leveled and then covered with vegetation.

Over 600 security

equipment were installed,
including cameras and alarms.

Over 93,5

tons of rubble
removed.

Over 117,600

pest control and
thermal fogging carried out.

24-hour monitoring

A Security and Monitoring Center operates 24 hours a day and supports property surveillance actions, in collaboration with public security.

A system with 590 high-resolution cameras and motion sensor alarms was installed on the streets and in larger buildings.

In terms of security, monitoring is supported by drones that fly over evicted spaces.

Military Police is called in case of illegalities, such as theft, burglary, or robbery.
